Honda Commercial Shoot | Shreveport, LA

Lights, camera, action! While I’m no stranger to life on set, I recently got to experience my first location shoot with 360 Filmworks, Stone Ward’s in-house broadcast production company, for our newest client, South Central Honda Dealers. Seven days of travel starting in Shreveport, Louisiana, through Texarkana to Hot Springs, with stops in Little Rock, Sherwood and Conway with a final wrap day in White Hall. The shoot was both professionally and personally rewarding, in that as a newcomer to the South, I got to explore new sights while capturing every moment on social media for our client.

Working alongside a production crew is a great feeling. There’s a tremendous sense of accomplishment that comes with being part of a team. Each crew member brings their expertise to set, while working in tandem to ultimately produce a great piece of work. The camaraderie and laughs in between takes are just as vital to the success of the shoot itself.

Day 1: Shreveport: The Red River District, Strand Theatre, The Municipal Auditorium, James Burton Studios, Once in a Millennium Moon Mega Mural, Louisiana Boardwalk.

Day 2: Texarkana: State line Post Office and Federal Building, Texarkana Water Tower, City Hall.

Day 3: Hot Springs: The Arlington Hotel, Bathhouse Row, Hot Springs National Park.

Day 4: Little Rock: Downtown River Market.

Day 5: Sherwood: Burns Park, Plantopia, Dickey Stephens Park, Arkansas Heart Hospital.

Day 6: Conway: Toad Suck Square, Conway High School, University of Central Arkansas.

Day 7: White Hall: White Hall High School, White Hall Water Tower, The White Hall Museum, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Arkansas River.
