BAFTA Britannia Awards At The Beverly Hilton Hotel | Beverly Hills, CA

As the lobby of The Beverly Hilton Hotel filled with the press from all over Hollywood, I eagerly took my spot on the red carpet ready to cover the 2018 BAFTA Britannia Awards on Social Media. The red carpet was lined with lights and cameras ready to interview and capture the night's attendees at a moment's notice. A few of the honoree of mention were Actor and Comedian, Jim Carrey, Actress, Cate Blanchett, Actress, Emelia Clark, Director, Steve McQueen, and Actress, Viola Davis. The awards were broadcast LIVE online via BritBox and I was placed right next to the "Twitter Mirror," a camera stand from Twitter Headquarters that automatically sends red carpet photos directly to your desired feed.

A rush of celebrities began to takeover the red carpet, including Elizabeth Debicki from Gaurdians of the Galaxy, Jared and Allegra Harris (The Crown), and So You Think You Can Dance Producer, Nigel Lythgoe. As everyone began to make their way, one celebs I spotted down the line was the legend herself, Joan Collins. The Dynasty actress looked as stunning as ever dressed in all black with big hair, and makeup on point. It was such a thrill to see so many big names in one place. This was easily one of the biggest nights of my career. We had LIVE Tweets going out and Instagram Posts straight from the red carpet and behind-the-scenes, along with Getty Images rolling in left and right.
